Finding this unicorn of digital electronics in my parents' house was like unearthing buried treasure. My mother won it in a raffle in 2002 and never used it and stored it away.
This is the original iPod from 2002, in it's original box, COMPLETE with all original components:Power charging plug (AC adapter) FireWire cable remote (in sealed sliver bag) earphones never been touched carrying case Info paper insert original box in amazingly excellent condition outer protective sleeve in decent condition but wear from age on corners and one tear which is taped on the back side
Ipod itself is white with a silver back.6.5 ounces 4" x 2.4"Â 0.72" thick
This is an amazing treasure for any fan of old digital technology.
I doubt that there's many of these left in the world, unused in all original packaging with all original components.
The fingerprints on the back of the iPod are mine from holding it just then in the video. Before taking the video I had never touched it.
Needless to say those fingerprints are now gone.
